The minutes of the latest meeting of the Charlton fans' forum are now available to read

Set up earlier this season to expand upon the role of the elected supporters' director, the fans' forum met recently with chief executive Steve Waggott and managing director Stephen Kavanagh to discuss all things Addicks.

Subjects raised included the possible placing of disabled supporters in the south stand from next season, the club's current shirt-sponsorship agreement and Charlton's scouting plans for the new term.

The minutes can now been downloaded here from www.cafc.co.uk, while an ongoing record of each meeting will also be kept within the dedicated fans' forum section of the official website, which can be found here.

Applications for a vacant position on the Charlton fans' forum closed at 12pm on Thursday.

Work commitments led to the recent resignation of Sacha Zarb from the panel of supporters which discusses issues affecting the Addicks with the highest levels of the club.

There are currently four supporters' representatives on the fans' forum, plus two representatives of overseas fans and one member of the Charlton Athletic Disabled Supporters' Association.

The section also charts the history of Charlton's willingness to engage with its fanbase, which began in 1992 when a member of the Valley Investment Plan was invited to become a director of the club.

It was decided to alter the format following changes in corporate law which placed an increasing burden on the elected fans' director in the final years of the role.

In its place, the club introduced a fans' forum to ensure supporters' views would still be heard at the highest levels of the club.
