Clock ticking on eBay auctions

Time is running out for one lucky Addicks fan to get their hands on a unique eBay package from Chris Powell's last game for Charlton, while the clock is also ticking on 673 Valley Review matchday programmes which are up for grabs as a job lot.

Supporters can bid for an official teamsheet filled in by Charlton assistant manager Phil Parkinson and signed by Chris Powell

Powell's final game in a red shirt will live long in the memory of Addicks fans - the veteran left-back came off the substitutes' bench against Coventry City on the final day of the 2007/08 season to score only his third goal for the club on his 270th appearance for Charlton.

To remember his perfect day, supporters can bid for an official teamsheet filled in by Charlton assistant manager Phil Parkinson and signed by Powell.

The teamsheet is one of the three completed copies each team has to fill in on matchdays, and has to be supplied for media use.

What's more, also included in the package is the Coventry teamsheet, the day's matchday programme and a DVD showing the complete match action, including Powell's goal, which has been compiled by the club's ProZone staff.

No other footage of the entire 90 minutes is available, although buyers should note that the action is shown from one camera, with infrequent close-ups, and there is no commentary and no sound.

Postage costs will be advised - or fans can choose to collect the items personally from The Valley.

Meanwhile, any keen programme collectors need to get their skates on in order to get their hands on another unique auction.

The Valley Review production team is clearing out its store cupboard in preparation for the forthcoming season by putting 673 editions of the award-winning matchday programme from the 2006/07 campaign on eBay as a job lot.

The programmes, from Charlton's last season in the Premier League are currently clogging up the club's offices, so we've decided to offer them all to one lucky fan via an online auction.

Packed in small boxes, the winning bidder must collect the programmes, which include FA Cup and Carling Cup matches, from Charlton's production offices at The Valley.

The boxes contain multiple editions from the following home games; Reading, Carlisle United, Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur, Watford, Bolton Wanderers (Premier League and Carling Cup), Sheffield United, Blackburn Rovers, Wycombe Wanderers, Middlesbrough, Portsmouth, Manchester City, Everton, Newcastle United, Arsenal, West Ham United, New Zealand, Chelsea, Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa.

To get your hands on these items, visit our Auctions section of the website.

Every official Charlton Athletic auction item is supplied with a certificate of authenticity and payment will need to be made directly to the club by cheque or credit/debit card.

If you have any questions, please email auctions@cafc.co.uk before bidding. Non-paying winners will be banned from future CAFC auctions.
