Is Alan Curbishley the greatest Charlton manager ever, or does Jimmy Seed, who led the Addicks to the FA Cup trophy, reign supreme?
Who is the best goalkeeper to have played at The Valley; Sam Bartram or Dean Kiely perhaps?
Now is the time to decide.
In October the club launched a massive supporters' poll to find out who are the best players to have represented Charlton over the last 100 years to commemorate the club's centenary season. And now the award categories have now been shortlisted to include the top contenders from the votes cast so far.
The Charlton Athletic Centenary Awards will see supporters of all generations and Addicks eras cast their vote to select a winner in 10 different categories.
And the club will then host a gala presentation event at the end of the season to mark the club's heroes and their achievements - and provide a fitting climax to the anniversary celebrations.
The poll is a bid to involve as many supporters as possible in the club's centenary season and fans will be able to vote via phone, email, the club's website or by writing in to The Valley. Every selection has a code, and all fans need to do is provide the code of their choice.
A list of nominees has been produced in eight of the 10 categories, but fans can also nominate their own deserving option if they feel someone, or something, has been unfairly omitted.
In the final two categories the club is inviting supporters to provide their own nominations.
Fans don't have to make a selection in every category, but naturally the more votes the club receives, the greater the poll reflects supporters' opinions.

Cult hero
A player who has epitomised the spirit of Charlton Athletic over the last 100 years is whom the club is asking fans to nominate in this category. Who had a special affinity with the fans? Who best conducted himself as a Charlton player? Who symbolises what the club stands for? The cult hero doesn't necessarily have to be the player supporters believe was the best to ever represent the club, but the player who did it in the best manner. Nominations should be no longer than 100 words long and submitted before January 31st.
Lifetime achievement award
The second award to be nominated by fans, and selections are open to anyone connected with the club, from Addicks supporters to employees to the club's players and managers. Do you know someone who has devoted their life to the club? If so, nominate that person in no more 100 words so a shortlist can be produced at the end of January.
If you wish to vote by post, simply write down your choices and send them to Centenary Awards, c/o Ian Cartwright, Charlton Athletic FC, The Valley, Floyd Road, London SE7 8BL. |
Votes can be cast by telephone by calling 0800 587 1100 - when fans can leave their name and the relevant codes.
Additional nominations for categories can be suggested via the postal address above or email ian.cartwright@cafc.co.uk.
All votes must be received by Saturday, April 16th - the day of the Bolton Wanderers home fixture.
